A Story of Creation

Clouds of dust and gas
In a myriad clusters
Vast, leisurely, unmoving
A motley coat of the sky
Swirl around for countless
Blue winters
In time, the hourglass indelibly turns
And the trickle, begins.
Clouds bump into one another
Intermingle
Coalesce
Grow denser
Hotter
Finally collapsing under their own gravity
Igniting
Giving birth to a star.
Nearby
Piercing the mad silence
The titanic death rattle of another
Star
Exploding
Doomed to end, ferociously
Yin threatens to
Annihilate everything it touches
A black flame of devastation
Spreads with light's speed
Yet Yang promises
To electrify and to
Animate it
All
It reshuffles
Fertilises
Creates
Rare elements are birthed
Crucial for
The next trick
If the puny crumbs round a
Baby star
Want themselves
To give
Birth.
Fighting and persevering
The crumbs fuse into planets
And under stupendous odds
Their brew
Is finally ready.
A thin fragile film of
Consciousness
Perilously clinging on the planet's skin
Unfathomably complex web
And unbroken, billion-year old chain
Intricate collections of atoms
Unite but for a blink
They tangle together
Into beautiful, unique and messy
Braid patterns
In spacetime. Brilliant universes of thought are born For,
Reflecting on the shores
Of oblivious rocks
And furious oceans,
Man knows.
Just as there can't be front without back
Heads without tails
Inside without outside
Thus so Man is all of Creation
And all that surrounds him
Is Man.
From Chaos
Order
From Destruction
Creation
From Randomness
Complexity
The snake will always feast on its own tail
